A story in light dance images

light dance
is a photo series by Charlie Alice Raya, created by dancing with fairy lights.

I might be an accidental storyteller — as in stories seem to be happening to me.
Take this case: I do the usual mistake of thinking, oh, I’ll just have a quick (quick is important in this context), I’ll just have a quick look at my light dance photos from 2011 to pick a few for the Hub photo special.
I know, just having a quick look rarely ends well. But still, this was about images. That’s harmless, I thought.
As I perused the photos, I was surprised and astonished, because in 2011 I only made a small selection and forgot about all the rest.
As I look at these images, which are so full of dynamic, I suddenly see a story emerge. And, of course, I got hooked. And some six or eight hours later (I lost track of time), I had compiled a beautiful story — without having written a single word.
I decided against giving the story a title so that everyone can let the story emerge before their eyes.
I like the fact that each of these stories will be different, will be personal.
Curious? Then it’s time for a visit to the easy town project’s website the Hub:
